About Harvest

New Here?

Our Mission

Love God.
Love people.
Make disciples.

Our desire is to make much of Jesus and see others come to Him in faith, walk with Him in obedience, and live for Him in surrender. At Harvest Community Church we hope that you and your family can find a home and a community to grow with, serve with, and be on mission with.

Purpose

We are here to help your family find fellowship in a Biblically-centered environment so you can feel welcomed and encouraged in your Christian walk. We believe in living gospel-centered lives, and we care about bringing biblical truths to the world.

Our Doctrine

Harvest’s doctrine is historically orthodox, broadly evangelical, reformed in its soteriology, complementarian in its view of church and family life, and traditional in its understanding of marriage, gender, and sexuality. To clarify these positions, we have adopted the 2019 Evangelical Free Church of America’s Statement of Faith (Articles 1-10) and added clarifying statements (Articles 11-14). Articles 11-14 include influences from similarly-aligned associations and churches.

Who We Are

Our Team & Leadership

Harvest is made up of men and women from all over the north Houston area—it is these people who make up who we are. We are blessed to be led by a faithful group of elders and a great ministry staff. To learn more about our leadership and governance, go here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

We have a parking lot that wraps all the way around the building and overflow parking in the grass field on the south side of the campus.

What is your dress code?

There is no official dress code at Harvest. We of course ask that people would consider modesty and respect in their attire. Beyond that, come as you are! Most people on a Sunday morning are dressed casually.

Is there childcare available?

Yes. There is something for all children aged birth – 5th grade at both hours of our Sunday morning programming.

What is your style of worship?

Worship at Harvest Community Church is an authentic, doctrinally sound, blend of traditional and modern praise music.

Do you have adult Bible studies?

We offer adult education classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30am as well as mid-week community groups.

Can my kids come to service with me?

Absolutely! All are welcome in the service.
